Delightful Day

The chores are all done, I have my decaf coffee with Vanilla Caramel creamer and I am all set to blog!  I don't have a whole lot to say tonight but I do have a lot of photos to share with you!

~~~~~
We woke up this morning to a nice rain that lasted through the morning.  The sun peeked through the clouds here and there during late afternoon but it remained mostly cloudy and cool all day.  A dear neighbor invited me over this afternoon to photograph her dogwood trees that are in bloom.  She and her husband have a lovely yard so I ended up meandering through the property and these are the photos I took.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed photographing them!
Here are the dogwood blooms and trees...
Their azaleas are in full bloom and are beautiful!  Country Boy says the crappy are biting because the azaleas are blooming!  He hasn't been out fishing, though, to prove that theory!
This little guy was busy doing his job of pollinating the azalea bushes the whole time I was taking picutres!
I thought the backside of the flower was pretty too!
You never know what you'll see when you're taking pictures!  This tree frog was chilling on the azalea bush.
The next set of photos are of twisty trees!  I think they are so cool!
They have an orange tree that has more blossoms on it than leaves!  And, it smelled oh-so-good!
The next several photos are the view from their backyard.  Notice the clouds.  I love all the different colors in these two photos.
On my way out, I took a picture of a hawk's nest that is visible from their driveway.  I wasn't sure if the hawk was in the nest but when I got home and zoomed in on the photo, she was in there.  You can barely see her head, her eye and part of her beak.  It's not the greatest picture (I really need to get a monopod soon!) but here it is...
I hope you enjoyed my stroll around my neighbors property!
My friends and dear neighbors, I hope you enjoyed looking at your yard through my camera lens!  Thanks again for the invite to meander!
Till next time,
