WooHoo It's Friday!

Oh what am I talking about... everyday is Friday for me!  But, for those of you who don't have a Friday everyday... Happy Friday y'all!  It's a slightly cool, breezy morning here in Central Florida which is fantastic for this time of year!  I've been up and at 'em already this morning... the sheets have been washed and hung on the line to dry, supper is in the CrockPot, more photos taken AND all before I've finished my morning coffee!  Whew!  No worries though... I drink decaf!  Country Boy wonders why I even bother but that's another story!

I still need to run to town to do some errands and get a few groceries.  Lots of little stuff on the To-Do list today.  Unfortunately, none of it is exciting enough to share but must be done *sigh*.

Yesterday evening as I went outside to give the kitties their supper snack, I took my camera with me (something I am trying to get in the habit of doing every time I walk out the door... as Country Boy says, "You need to wear that camera like a pair of shoes."  Maybe he's tired of me griping about missing a shot because I didn't have my camera... hmmmm, ya' think?!).

Anyway, I noticed that our back porch and stairs were trashed with acorn bits.  I've heard them falling on the tin roof all day.  Apparently, Scrappy Squirrel likes to sit in the tree above the back porch eating acorns and discarding his trash on our stairs which bounce off onto the back porch!  This acorn, though, was on the deck, unscathed...

This morning when I went outside to give the kitties their breakfast...

... blown to smithereens!  Must've been yummy!  I'm sure today will be a repeat of yesterday with all the noise of more acorns hitting the tin roof!  The good thing... with the squirrels eating acorns, I shouldn't have to put so much corn & peanuts out for them now.  We'll see... after all, they are pigs!

I'd better get back at 'em!

I hope y'all have a fabulous weekend!

Till next time,

Those are quite green. Do they stay that way? In any event, these are perfect photos. Have a great weekend!

A good acorn crop means healthy animals in winter.
