Simply Saturday

I have SO much to say about simplifying that I can't even wrap my brain around it yet to put it into words.  So, I'll simply leave you with some photos and save the verbage for another day when I have a better handle on all that I want to say.  How's that?!

Gulf Fritillary
These photos were taken with the 50mm lens I recently purchased.  I'm really starting to like this lens.  A lot.  A year or so ago I tried my photog buddies' 50mm lens and didn't care for it back then.  At the time, I liked the versatility of the 18 - 55mm that is usually on my camera at all times.  I like being able to stand in one spot and zoom in or out depending on the subject.  But, when I purchased the Raynox Macro lens the 50mm lens was recommended also.  I'm glad I followed the recommendation now.

It's raining cats and dogs outside right now with lots of thunder and lightning.   LizzieBelle and I went out for an evening walk and we literally made it on the front porch just in time before the heavens opened up.  I'm hoping to finish this post and get it published in case of a power outage.

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Till next time,

I have a 50mm lens and don't use it often, but I'm always happy with the results when I do. Lovely photos!

Your photographs are lovely!
Lenses are confusing-
I am interested in the Canon 18-135 mm lens?
Have you heard anything about it?

Glad to see you're using the 50mm again and also enjoying the Raynox. That's a nifty little gadget that's so easy to use and enhances photos so much. I so enjoyed the shots of the Gulf Fritillary. Hope your power didn't go out!
