Lately I have been bombarded with Spam comments on several of my posts. There are more and more Spam comments and less and less real comments.
One can only take so many comments about ordering Viagra, Cialis, Tramadol, etc. online. The icing on the cake, though, was when I began receiving vulgar comments.
I apologize if this is an inconvenience for you but, for my sanity, this is what I must do.

yup, that's the setting i use and i almost NEVER get spam. EVER!
I had to do the same thing. It seems to have helped do far.
I use that setting also and never receive spam comments. Sorry you were on the receiving end of that nasty spam!
