Transitions

I've been finding it difficult to blog as of late.

In a blog fog?

Perhaps.

Or maybe it's more than that.

My original intent for my blog was to share stories about the events that take place in and around our small place in this world.  Chickens, gardens, birds, wildlife, DIY projects, photos of it all...

Now, I find myself in the middle of nowhere with only the things that fit in our 5th wheel or cargo trailer, two cats and a dog.  Oh, and the hubby, of course, when he's not at work!

I'm OK with that.

I have found that we really don't need all the 'things' of life that we think we need.

But it's the time of year when CountryBoy and I would be planning our vegetable garden, starting seeds in the greenhouse and preparing the ground.

I have no ground that is mine right now therefore there is no planning or preparing going on right now.

What I would normally be blogging about isn't taking place.

So, I find myself in a state of transition.  And, quite possibly, the blog as well.  Who knows.

I did plant some tomato seeds in a kitty litter bucket that can be taken with us if necessary.

We'll see how that goes.

Till next time,

Maybe your current situation makes it all the more important to keep blogging. You have done a great job of sharing your story, remembering the details. It's a wonderful photographic journal and helps keep things in perspective perhaps. You really do still have much to share. How is your sewing progressing? Maybe you can grow a little more in portable containers too. Your blog may have changed but you are still you and you have a story to share....

Awwww...what they all said! Your blog is a great source of inspiration. You might not have the same "normal" as before, but you've still got a huge, gigantic adventure to keep us posted on! And I need a pic of that kitty litter bucket full of tomatoes. LOL

I know about blog fog firsthand.

I'm glad you planted some tomato seeds. I hope they grow and flourish!

Oh, I hope you'll continue to blog. I find your new lifestyle so interesting...and inspiring. It's something I'd love to do one day. I've enjoyed all your posts since moving into the 5th wheel. There are a lot of us in blog fog or brain fog right now. It'll get better.

I know this new normal has been so different, and most likely a lot more challenging than any of us (your loyal readers!) could imagine. I enjoy following along - it all seems pretty darn adventurous to me! Goodness knows, I don't even leave the farm that often. I do hope your plants make it! -Tammy
