Bryan Beach

Last week CountryBoy attended orientation and safety training for the new job.  He had a couple of half days of training so one afternoon we headed to Bryan Beach which is about 10 - 15 minutes from the RV Park.

It is a beautiful, unspoiled beach with no houses or condos.

Just like the photos of the Jetty this beach was littered with seaweed as well.

This is a particularly large pile of seaweed.  I call it a seaweed wall!

This beautiful, unspoiled beach goes for miles.

Birds were enjoying poking through the seaweed looking for some yummy snacks!  Here's a few that we spooked when we got near...

Can ya see them?

There was a rather interesting object several feet offshore...

Not quite sure what it is but it looks to me like part of a fishing boat.  Hmmm, what happened to the boat?

Maybe it ended up like this one...

See the boat on its side on dry land?  Ooops!

Before you get to the beach there are lots of little waterways.  I would think they would be perfect for some fishing.  This guy's trying his hand beak at fishing...

And, only in Texas would you see this at the beach!

I hope you enjoyed our little trip to Bryan Beach.  I can't wait to go back with our chairs, a picnic lunch and a book!

Till next time folks!
