I Have No Words

I know today is Simply Saturday but I am just not up to it today.  Country Boy and I did have a really nice time at our church picnic today... we ate good ol' picnic food, played some games and had a great time of fellowship.

Then, after coming home, the drama began with a one time friend and neighbor.  Accusations, name calling, I said/you said, etc.  I felt like I was back in grade school as I was reading the email. It's still all too overwhelming for me to comprehend at this time; I have no words.  Apparently, there was a huge miscommunication from day one of our friendship about many things.  I don't enjoy being in this situation and it bothers me greatly.  I have always been a person that tries to please everyone so you can imagine how I'm feeling right now.  Lots of prayers and time will get me through though; but it is for the best that the friendship is over.

I saw this on a friends' Facebook status...  A WISE woman once said... There comes a time in life when you walk away from all the drama and people who cause it.  Surround yourself with people who make you laugh.  Forget the bad, and focus on the good.  Love the people who treat you right, and pray for those who don't.  Life is too short to be anything but happy.  Falling down is a part of LIFE; getting back up is LIVING!

How appropriate for me today, doncha' think?

Simply Saturday update... I did manage to get my desk cleaned out this past week.  I still have to sort through my Action pile though and as of this afternoon there is a pile of stuff on top of my desk that was in a cabinet that I returned to the person who loaned it to me.  I will continue to work on the Action pile and find a new home for the new pile on my desk this coming week.  My next project?  Hmm... probably my recipes.  Now that one's going to take awhile but it needs to be done!

Thank you for stopping by!  I'm sorry it's not my usual upbeat, positive type of blog.  I'm just not feeling it today. *sad face*   I hope you'll forgive me and understand!

I hope you're having a great weekend!

Till next time,

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Praying for Gods peace and direction in your situation. God's word says He will make your enemies to be at peace with you.
God Bless
