Not so Wordless Wednesday

Today is a beautiful day here in the country!  It's cool, breezy and in the low 80's for the high today!  I'm lovin' it!

Beauty Berry
I have the front door open, a load of laundry on the line, some chicken breasts baked to add on salads and waiting for a neighbor to stop by.  We're going to make some cloth napkins.

One of my goals of being green and frugal is to get away from using paper napkins.  I have quite a few left before I run out but I thought it was time to go ahead and start making some cloth napkins so that I'll be ready when I do run out.  I found some gorgeous fabric yesterday and am anxious to get started.

I'm not much of a seamstress so I rely on my neighbor to make sure that I don't do something stupid while cutting fabric or sewing, hahaha!

We are also going to be making a bunch more napkins, place mats, table runners and whatever else we can think of and then I'll list them in my new Etsy shop!  Stay tuned!

Pretty and colorful fabric. They'll make the prettiest napkins.

btw - I have a photo of those berries and have no idea what they are, do you? I snapped the photo at a butterfly garden earlier this year.

I made a table topper in that first fabric, it's so pretty and fall like... maybe I should bring it out! Have fun:@)

I gave up paper products last year and have never looked back! Wait until you walk down the paper isle at the grocery store, look at the prices and know that money is staying in your pocket!!

Please show us your final products when you get your sewing projects done.
