Anticipation

... is making me wait, keeping me waaa-aaa-iii-ting.  Are ya singing that song now?  Ha!  I don't know the song very well but it will always remind of the ketchup commercial from years ago.  (OK, many years ago!)

Today, I sit here writing this post and planning my day in anticipation of the arrival of my Dad and brother with my Jeep, the cargo trailer and our two cats, Hunter and Precious. Woot!  Things are about to change up here in this 5th wheel!

They pulled out Monday night and expect to be here some time this morning.

It's a 2,282 mile trip from Florida to Nevada and should take about 35 hours plus a bit of time for fuel, food and potty stops.

They are tag-team driving.

Last night they were in Amarillo, Texas when I talked to them.

All was going well.  The Jeep was having no trouble pulling the trailer and the trailer was tracking nicely.  The cats were sound asleep, Hunter underneath the passenger seat and Precious hiding somewhere!

We are so grateful to them for offering to do this for us, saving us some possible trip-related stress that may have affected CountryBoy's heart condition.

It will be nice to have a vehicle again and the rest of my stuff.  Stuff like clothes, kitchen items, paperwork, craft supplies and farm fresh eggs!

I will be spending several days unloading the trailer and deciding whether an item stays in the trailer or goes into the 5th wheel.  I have lots of organizing to do.  It will be challenging but fun!

I'm going to try and remember to take before and after pics.  Sometimes I get carried away with an idea and I forget to take photos!

Till next time,

It will be nice to have your things with you. Have fun organizing. (lol, when I checked my post I had written "thongs" instead of things. Glad I checked but thought you might get a smile in hearing about my typo.)
