Whirlwind Trip, Part Two

Early Friday morning after a restful night's sleep, a good breakfast and a walk around town we headed to the Teton mountains.

Our first couple of stops were before we entered the Teton National Park.

Traveling along the backside of the mountains...

Here we spotted a wild buffalo...

After entering the park we pulled off at one of the scenic overlooks and walked down the embankment  to the waters edge...

The view was breathtaking!  CountryBoy would've stayed there all day if he'd had a fishin' pole!

We took a side road so we could drive over the dam.  On our way back cars were pulled over and everyone was out of their cars with cameras or binoculars in hand.

CountryBoy had his binoculars aimed in the direction everyone was looking and he spotted the subject...

...a grizzly bear!  He was thrilled to say the least so I grabbed my telephoto lens to get a shot of him.

Next up, Yellowstone National Park and Old Faithful.  Stay tuned!

Commercial Break:  Many of these photos are available for purchase on my Redbubble site as prints, posters, or note cards.  Click on the link in my sidebar if interested.

Till next time,
