Psalm 46:1-3
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. NIV
It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this blog tonight. My thoughts and prayers are for those in Japan and Hawaii that have endured such devastation and for those who have lost loved ones. My friends, may we all be reminded that God is our refuge and strength for all times. Our finite minds may not understand all that's going on in the world around us, but God knows and sees the big picture and He is in control. And for that, I am grateful!

On a lighter note, here are some photos I took last week... notice the black ant on the smaller set of leaves.

And now for something pretty! These flowers grow on vines that are intertwined throughout our trees. I'm not sure what they are but they give our trees some color!
