Simply Gorgeous

It's an absolutely gorgeous day here in Central Florida!  There's a warm breeze blowing but it's still comfortable enough to sit on my front porch and have the house opened up.  I spent some time sorting and organizing some more of my photos.  I am happy with my progress but still have a couple more photo storage boxes to go through.  Another day!

Country Boy called me this morning around the time he should have been getting off work to let me know that he was doing a swap with someone so he would be working today.  There's usually no problem with that but today was the first day of our 'diet' and he didn't have any food!  So, I got up this morning, had my first cup of black coffee and made his breakfast, lunch and supper and took it to his station.  We spent some time on the front porch where he works and chatted while he drank his coffee.  We watched lots & lots of motorcycles drive by .  The first Sunday of every month there's a Car Swap that takes place in the town where he works.  I guess everyone was heading that way to check it out!  I just remember wondering how they all could afford the gas to go joy-riding these days!

I mentioned the black coffee earlier because I didn't start drinking coffee until I got married 11 1/2 years ago and at the time I had to have LOTS of milk or creamer in it!  Country Boy still makes fun of the way I learned to drink coffee!  He would put milk, hot chocolate and/or marshmallows in my coffee for me.  Needless to say, I didn't care for the chocolate or marshmallows so I stuck with the milk.  I have gotten better through the years (working in EMS helped!  They love their coffee and they like it STRONG!) where I don't need very much milk or creamer nowadays.  It's a good thing since I'll be drinking it black for the next month or so!  It  was not too bad; I survived!
