Yesterday evening while driving home from visiting my folks the sun began disappearing behind some clouds. We were driving 70 MPH down the Interstate and here are a few of the shots I was able to get...
It was so pretty! Then a few miles from home we noticed that the roads were wet. We got some much needed rain while we were gone! It wasn't a lot of rain because our rain buckets only had a couple of inches in them but at least it was enough to keep the ground wet until this morning, yay!
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the many terrible tornadoes earlier this week. I have read some heartwrenching stories via the news and blogs and I just can't even begin to imagine what those folks are going through. Keep them in your prayers and help in whatever ways you can.
I hope you all have a wonderful, long Memorial Day weekend! Country Boy is working all weekend with the exception of Sunday. It's definitely going to be a long weekend for me. I guess I'll spend some time scrapbooking and cross-stitching! Or maybe some reading; or taking pictures; definitely some blogging... hmmm... what to do!? Decisions, decisions!
Till next time,

Those are great photos for on the fly!
Sounds like my kind of weekend -- except I'm sure you'd like to have your hubby home.
Have a good one!
congrats on getting some rain!!! yippee!!! i know that feeling of relief/joy well! i guess you'll need to start a project of some sort - or all of the smaller ones you mentioned. i could always clean the house, but nah...
the photos are pretty, but please be careful!!!
Those are nice shots!
When my hunny is driving and I'm trying to take pictures, it feels like he's speeding up on purpose so I can't get a decent shot! LOL
Have a great weekend!
