I thought I'd go ahead and post a couple of photos of last nights Super Moon. Apparently, many people in other states were not able to see it due to overcast skies.
I know it's not quite the same as seeing it in person but, here ya' go...
...the Super Moon of 2012.
I had to wait until the moon was above our tree line.
Till next time,

Fantastic photos !
yeah, we were too overcast.
Overcast here too. I haven't run across too many bloggers that had the opportunity to see the Super Moon. Thanks for posting these great photos!
Great camera & great knowledge to use it! Looks like a NASA photo
Cool pics! Totally overcast all day and night in Philly, we missed it:@)
I must have been in a cloud because I never saw the super moon...so thanks for sharing.
oh it's just perfect and so are these photos. we were in an overcast area for the most part and it just wasn't worth trying to get a shot.
i think they said 2029 for the next moon like this? oh well, i'll have to shoot it then :)
We were able to see it for hours and hours...loved it!
These are wonderful photos! You captured it beautifully!
You did great! I have my photos stored in my head. :)
Hi this Super Moon is lovely! I am not fortunate as they said we will see it past 11pm and i didn't know i slept waiting. So this morning i woke up early at 4am (not intended), so i grasped the camera and took the morning moon in the west window! By the way, i read the lengthy post above, i finished it and because i also have an aching back, i just commented about the moon instead, haha! I have a new blog, i call it Pure Oxygen Generators, don't you think my title is apt for gardeners?
I visited yesterday, but my internet service was so slow that I couldn't leave a message. So, I'm back today - just wanted to thank you for sharing these gorgeous moon shots. It was cloudy here and we missed it!
Hugs,
Zuzu
