CountryBoy and I were able to go to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon (which is a tiny portion of the canyon) while I was visiting him out west. What an unbelievable sight! Words can not describe the sheer magnitude and beauty of the canyon so I won't even try.

It was a bright, sunny day and not a cloud was in sight which washed out my photos but you can still get the general idea of the beauty of this natural wonder.
One day we will go back (and hopefully it will be cloudy!) because we would like to see the East Rim and Desert View of the canyon. I will also invest in a wide angle lens before going back!
