Sweet Smell of Spring

Spring is in the air!  The hummingbirds are humming, the Fireflies are 'twinkling' in my woods and the sweet smell of Jasmine fills my nostrils when I step outside!  It's a little too warm mid to late afternoons but the mornings and evenings are cool.  We have yet to turn our air on but we might break down soon if the afternoon temps get closer to the mid-nineties rather than the current high-eighties to low-nineties.

Yesterday the twig was brown and bare;
Today the glint of green is there;
Tomorrow will be leaflets spare;
I know no thing so wondrous fair,
No miracle so strangely rare.
I wonder what will next be there!
L. H. Bailey

Spring is a season of hope & renewal.  I think it's God's gentle reminder to us that He is still in control!  I hope Spring is making its appearance where you live!

Till next time,

Beautiful photos, and I can almost smell the jasmine.. Mmmm! You reminded me that I need to put my hummingbird feeders out. Still a bit early here, but you never know when there might be an early bird! ;) Love this: "...God's gentle reminder to us that He is still in control!" So true! -Tammy
