Foolin' Around in PS Elements

Back in the day (which is odd for me to say cuz I'm really not that old!) of film photography  I used to love shooting black and white film and then developing it.  I would spend HOURS in the school's photo lab processing and developing my film and making prints.  LOVED it!

Then along came special markers that could be used to color in parts of your black and white photograph.  I bought some and started foolin' around with coloring a certain subject in my photos.  It was very difficult to do and have it come out looking like a photo and not just something that was 'colored' with markers.  But, I thought the idea of it was great.

The other night I remembered this old process and thought "why can't I do that today in this wonderful world of digital photography?"

So, last night, I started foolin' around in Photoshop Elements and this is what I came up with...

I had a lot of fun foolin' around with these and I really like how they turned out.  It was almost like being back in the school's photo lab again only without the smell!  (Those of you who've been in a photo lab know what I'm talking about, heehee!)

What do you think?  Do you like them?  Should I consider putting photos similar to these on my RedBubble site?

Speaking of RedBubble...  I have started putting some of my favorite photos on there.  (Check it out on my sidebar.)  I have more to add but it will take me some time to get them uploaded on there so please keep checking.  If you're interested in purchasing a particular photo that I have posted in the past, please let me know and I will get it on the site for you.

Happy Tuesday y'all!

Till next time,

But now it is a hobby . I have a few portfolio albums I have put together of my fave photos , its fun when you use a scrap book to do them ! Have a good day !
